This discussion refers to the “telephone” game.  If you don’t remember from childhood, this is how the game is played; information is passed from one person to another via whisper.  The information is communicated through a number of different people and the last person states what they heard.  Based on what you know about the reconstructive nature of memory, what can you suggest are some reasons why the message often changes so dramatically from the message that the first person states to the one the last person receives?
